About Nana

Hello,

I’m Nana Lynn.

Welcome to my creative space, the place I think of as my imagination station.

Join me as we explore and test new ideas for creative projects and activities for little kids, big kids and grownups of all ages. Creativity knows no age.

I’m Nana to 7 grandchildren ages 1 to 13. I love doing crafts and creative activities with the kids and because of the broad age range we create a lot of different things.

My goal is to challenge kids and grownups to spend more time expressing their creativity and less time in front of tech devices (unless you’re reading Nana’s blog online of course. lol) There’s some pretty stiff competition vying for their time so the ideas I come up with must be compelling, simple, easy and most of all, fun.

It’s all in the planning. The most successful projects involve a bit of planning and preparation. If I’m working with younger kids, I’ll pre-cut some of the materials to save time during crafting. Older kids are great for helping with prep, whether we’re working on a recipe or creating something with things from the recycling bin or thrift shop finds.

We especially like projects that involve recycling, upcycling and natural and found materials. Nana’s projects usually involve things that a lot of people might already have on hand or are easily sourced. We love experimenting with different materials and inventing new ways to make creative use of cast-off items.

Nana lives in a tiny house (520 sq. ft) on the edge of a little village so she’s learned to make economical of a small space. Planning and organization are key elements in everything Nana does. Simplicity is essential.

I hope you get as much enjoyment from trying some of these projects as I do. Quality time spent with grandchildren creating these projects is the very best part.

Thanks for following.

Lynn (Nana)
